Interfaith

On a bi-weekly basis, members of the church pick up and deliver food boxes to those across Greene County who are unable to reach the donation center on their own. The ministry was originally born out of CMUMC and has since become its own non-profit organization. If you are interested in participating, the church bus leaves the parking lot at 9:30am on the first and third Thursdays of the month

Days for girls

Days for Girls (DfG) is a global movement that prepares and distributes sustainable menstrual health solutions to girls who would otherwise miss school during their monthly periods. The volunteers of our church have been active with this mission for 5 years now, and have made and distributed over 1500 kits! You don't have to know how to sew to enjoy this time of fellowship and fun! We meet on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 8:00am. Come join us! There's always work to be done!

Backpack Blessings

Our Backpack Blessings Ministry has begun to deliver food items to the Pre-K program again. We are currently helping to feed 14 families in our area and we expect this will increase. At this time, monetary donations would be the best way for our congregation to support this ministry. If anyone has any questions, please be in contact with Jennifer Krodel or Pastor Emily.

Guatemala Mission

CMUMC for the past eight years has taken a group to Guatemala for missionary work. The group’s activities range from providing medicine and glasses to the local community, hosting Vacation Bible School for kids, construction work, and building stoves to help improve the lives of families in the local community.

Often with bubbles and noise makers the group stops at different homes across the county to remidn people they are loved.
